Mary Hare School - Newbury
Mary Hare Specialist School in Newbury have awarded the contract to design, supply and install a brand new sewage treatment system to C&L Fabrication Ltd for one of our Matrix systems.
The system incorporates for current use and future extensions to the school with the size of the system being a residential population equivalent of 550. However, the most challenging feature of the design was the Environment Agency's requirement for an ammonia limit on the final effluent of not more than 5mg/litre. Being able to adequately demonstrate that Matrix systems can consistently achieve this stringent level of effluent quality was an important element in securing the contract.
Similarly, the minimal operating and maintenance costs were an important consideration when comparing against other systems which have a multitude of mechanical componants within the treatment plant itself, whereas the Matrix system has no mechanical components within the treatment plant.
Installation of the system will be carried out by specialist installer E.S.T.S of Aylesbury with completion of the project being the end of march 2010.
